We support women to develop the skills and resilience to thrive.
We provide a calendar of free classes and groups for women to build their skills and grow community connections. Centre staff can also assist women seeking information and referrals to services. All women are welcome at the Centre regardless of their background and experience.
Many of our classes and services are suitable for a range of women, including young women, seniors, new migrants and people who are learning English.

South West Sydney Women’s Centre (previously called Liverpool Women’s Resource Centre) has been serving the community of South West Sydney since 1984.
The Centre is located at 23 Sheriff Street, Ashcroft.

We offer a range of free wellbeing and support services...
Group classes
Grow your confidence, wellbeing, and support network through a variety of support groups and informal events such as cake decorating, self-defence, yoga, or wellbeing workshops. Get arty or work on your side hustle with our paint pouring class, jewellery, or candle making classes.

Skills based training
We hold regular education and skills training courses in partnership with TAFE. These free accredited courses could be suitable for you.

We have resume writing and employment workshops at the Centre that can help.
Information and referral services
The Centre supports women in South West Sydney who are seeking information on a range of different topics such as what local services are available and support to make a referral.
We also provide telephone advocacy and form-filling support.

Drop in services
We operate from a friendly neighbourhood centre at 23 Sheriff Street, Ashcroft.
Our drop-in hours are 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday.

Community venue hire
South West Sydney Women’s Centre has a welcoming group room and outdoor space.
